Chris Vardaman is the Youth Pastor at New Testament Baptist Church, where he leads our dynamic teen ministry with a heart for helping young people grow in their faith. Chris organizes and leads all teen activities on Sundays and Wednesdays, as well as special events like outings, retreats, and summer camp, creating meaningful experiences for students to encounter Christ.

Beyond his role at NTBC, Chris is active in the community, coaching football and promoting church-to-church relations through various partnership programs. His passion for building relationships extends to both his church family and the wider community, encouraging unity and collaboration among believers.

Chris and his wife Lauren have three children—Addyson, Mason, and Ellison—and together they serve as a vibrant example of faith and family in action. Chris’s dedication to the next generation and his commitment to their spiritual growth make him a valued leader at NTBC.

It is my joy as pastor of New Testament Baptist Church to welcome you to our website.

We started our church in October of 1995 by meeting from living room to living room, moving on to a motel banquet room, then moving on to a vacated funeral home, and finally, in 2001, building our first building on the beautiful 10 acres where we are now located at the corner of Broadnax Mill Road and Youth Monroe Road in Loganville, Georgia.

Our church is an exciting church, committed to helping people-all people-in our area. This is the ministry the Lord Jesus has given to us, and we rejoice to have a part in it. We are here to serve you and to help you meet the spiritual needs of your family.

Our goal is to teach and preach the Word of God and apply it to our life today in such a way that changes lives. We teach and preach from the King James Version of the Bible and our southern gospel music will stir your heart.

Jaxyn Young has been a part of New Testament Baptist Church since childhood, growing up in the love and support of this faith-filled community. She now serves as our church secretary, where her organizational skills and dedication make her an indispensable asset to our team.

Jaxyn is deeply involved in the worship and youth ministries at NTBC, serving faithfully in the choir and helping lead the youth group. A graduate of Pensacola Christian College, Jaxyn brings a heart for ministry and a passion for helping others grow in their walk with Christ.

In 2024, Jaxyn and her husband Caleb were married, starting a new chapter in their journey of faith and service together. We are grateful for her commitment to NTBC and her continual contributions to our church family.

Matt and Tracy Green have been a vital part of the New Testament Baptist Church family for many years. Tracy began attending NTBC in 2004 and joined the church staff in July 2009. She currently serves as our financial secretary, faithfully managing the church’s day-to-day office operations with care and integrity.

Matt serves on our church’s steering committee, offering insight and spiritual leadership as we grow and seek God’s direction. Together, Matt and Tracy teach Sunday School and are actively involved in our Wednesday night children’s program, where they pour love and truth into the next generation.

They are the proud parents of Dalton and his wife Katherine, and their daughter Matlyn. Whether behind the scenes or in the classroom, the Greens are a trusted, Christ-centered presence in every area they serve.

We’re thankful for their heart for ministry, their commitment to the church family, and their desire to help others grow in their walk with Christ.

Terry's enthusiasm for music is infectious! He loves to sing and loves the One to Whom he sings. He loves to sing more than he loves to fish, and that's saying something! As minister of music, Terry brings his love of music to life in every service. The New Testament Baptist choir has grown from 10 people to a 50+ member FAITHFUL choir, and it's all because of God's amazing grace.

Down-home, Georgia Southern Gospel Music finds its place in every service. It is Terry's desire to see the hearts of our congregation stirred as they make preparations in their hearts to hear the Gospel that will be delivered after our celebration in songs. We have many talented groups and soloists who also deliver the powerful message in song each Sunday. Terry is constantly encouraging choir members to stretch themselves vocally and personally for the Savior. Each year new and fresh material is added to the choir and congregation in an effort to promote God's Word A-NEW and very powerfully in song. Choir practices are not just music practices, but a time of worship and praise every Sunday night at 5:00. Members are encouraged to pray for one another, be passionate about their songs, and show their love for Christ in every note they sing!

Terry and Beccy have been married and singing together for 30 plus years. They have two children, Kristen and Justin. They have eight grandchildren who are the light in their eyes. Beccy is the pianist for New Testament Baptist Church and is instrumental in helping Terry organize the music ministry and arranging many of the cantatas and special musical events at New Testament.
